Mid-season, Porcelain type. Powerful, full flavor is complemented with spice that provides a satisfying balance. Plump cloves are covered in gleaming tan skins with purple streaks, and the whole bulb is wrapped in bright white covers. Our chef customers request this variety not only because of its flavor, but also because of its huge clove size and ease of peeling.  Plants are extremely robust and very cold hardy. A truly magnificent variety that hails from the Republic of Georgia.

On average, one bulb produces about 4-5 cloves, all seed-worthy in our humble opinion. However, because of their size, only 4-6 bulbs make one pound (on average).
